Fight through the Cemetery Defenders and the Restless Ghosts, watch for the Bone Wraith blocking your path early on (three appear on the way, but only the first blocks you), defeat the Undead Minotaur before the gates open into the underworld, get past the Dragur guarding the entrance, and face the Ghost General as the final encounter deep in the underworld.
Drops include level 4 signets, class-specific signets, Spectral Pill, Talisman of Awakening (I and II), Crystalline Glyph IV and V, Vitamins, Glyph Seals, Fair and Refined potions, Treasure Tokens, Genesis Fragments, Aesthetic Stones and more.
Bacon & Eggs and the Goddess of Mercy
Two custom NPCs share a Treasure Token reward shop.
- Bacon & Eggs
- The wandering custom NPC that spawns on Saturdays. He announces one clue to his location — find him and you can use his 100% +8 imbue option for 5,000,000 gold and 2,400 virtue points.
- The Goddess of Mercy
- Spawns during the daily town raid. Shares a shop with Bacon & Eggs, and also exchanges Genesis Fragments with Realm Points into Genesis weapons or gear.

Classless AoEs
Onward has five unique AoEs that can be equipped as normal Ethyrs by any character. Each is based on a job-specific AoE, with one restriction: if your character is that class, you can't double up on the matching AoE. Because of this, they don't appear under "Ethyrs" but in the Active Skills list — you'll have to find them there.

Currency: Virtual Coins vs Etherbucks
Two currencies, and they are not the same. Virtual Coins are the website wallet — earned by voting or bought by donating. They buy webshop goods, which are unbound and tradeable. Etherbucks (EB) are the in-game currency — time online earns up to 50 a day (three accounts per IP), and they can also be converted from coins or bought by donating — and all fashion, glide gear and mounts from here are bound. Coins convert to Etherbucks at a fixed 1,000 : 1 on the Services page, one-way only. Etherbuck Trade in the client is the separate player-to-player exchange.
Genesis Fragments
Genesis gear and weapons can be broken down at the forge into Genesis Fragments — you'll get 1 or 10 per item.
Heralds and Transformation Cards
The various Heralds for the mob families also have transformation cards you can purchase.

Several features are aimed specifically at lower-level and starting players.
Early-Game Exchanges
- Bulletin Board quests
- Quests from Gaap Lands Bulletin Boards have a chance to grant Silver Ingots as a reward.
- Dungeon materials
- Unique dungeon drops (Crystals, unique boss items, Material Ethyrs) can be exchanged at the Hydraulic Engineer for D.S. Essence Debris or Treasure Tokens.
- Diplomacy materials
- Materials for diplomacy gear that drop from bosses can be exchanged at the Grove Land God for Genesis Fragments.
- Crafting materials
- Exchangeable at the Judge of the Underworld for a variety of items.

Super Imbue
Super Imbue takes the gamble out: put a +5 item and the materials into the panel with a +6 service and it comes out +6, every time. The NPC offers +6, +9 and +11.

Six NPC shops added for farming and materials exchange.
- DS Debris Exchange
- Exchange Dragon Slayer Essence Debris for Etherelics, Maps, Lottery tickets and other items. NPC: Old Monk — Elphunic.
- Token Shop
- Exchange Treasure Tokens for items. NPC: Wu Cheng'en — New Pokari.
- Dungeon Store
- Exchange unique dungeon items for Genesis Fragments or Treasure Tokens. NPC: Hydraulic Engineer — New Pokari.
- Mats Exchange
- Exchange Crystals, Jades and Ethyrs used in diplomacy gear for Genesis Fragments. NPC: Grove Land God — Arcanois, Peach Grove.
- Item Exchange
- Exchange Etheral Charms for Genesis Fragments. NPC: Chief Seme — Judium, Gengis Manor.
- Brewery
- Exchange Celestial Seeds, Scout/Guardian/Arcanist Shards and Material Ethyr for useful items and glyphs. NPC: Brewer Trufran / Judge of the Underworld — Dizzet Village / Pokari Outskirts.
Treasure Tokens
Swordkeeper Kash's Treasure Hunt Quest becomes available at level 60. Doing it daily earns 1 Treasure Token.
World Events
Events run on the server's own schedule — nobody has to be online to start them. Many gather in the Pokari City district of Old Pokari, and most announce themselves in chat before they begin. Times are in server time; timezone still to be confirmed.
